End of One Year and into the New
The final meeting of 2014 was the annual Christmas Celebration. The members enjoyed a hot meal with a good menu choice which was very efficiently served.
Whilst we were eating our meal we puzzled over the quiz questions knowing that the table with the most correct answers would win the prize.
A bonus to the musical entertainment was a solo sung by Jeremy Kibblewhite, a member's husband, it was good to hear a male voice before we all sang seasonal carols and songs and left feeling very festive.
The opening activity for 2015 was the annual coffee morning. This year it was held at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Diggle and there was an excellent turn out. We welcomed new faces and caught up with familiar friends. The charity raffle made £100 for the North West Air Ambulance which is our chosen charity this year.
The February meeting on the 4th at 7 30pm will be the speaker David Evans on the topic of Chester Twinning.
