Summer Garden Party
Our summer event, an afternoon tea party, was held in the garden of Dot Berry, on Wednesday the 9th July. The weather stayed fine, the food was wonderful and extremely plentiful, and Dot's garden looked an absolute picture!
Following a glass( or two ) of Buck's Fizz, food was served by the committee, accompanied by tea or coffee, and then we were all engrossed in the quiz which Dot has prepared.....guessing the locations from the photographs. Two tables tied for first place, sharing the prize of some very nice chocolates.
Following the drawing of the raffle, Dot was thanked for her hospitality, as were the members of the committee and the sub committee for their hard work. We had all had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, as the following pictures in the slideshow will attest.
