Report for January/February 2017
Kelsall WI rounded off 2016 with a very enjoyable Christmas celebration held at the Royal Oak and by decorating a Christmas tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at Kelsall Methodist Church. All the decorations were handmade by members and ranged from exquisite beaded baubles to cute crocheted or knitted ornaments.
We started 2017 with a well attended Coffee Morning/Bring and Buy Sale at the home of Mary Diggle and our next meeting is on February 1st when our speaker is Graham Fifoot who will be talking to us about beekeeping. We all know how crucial bees are to our planet's ecosystem so it should be an interesting and informative evening. At our March meeting we expect to be amazed and astonished by professional North West magician, Peter Turner.
Kelsall WI welcomes visitors and new members. We meet at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of each month in Kelsall Methodist Church, so why not join us as we look forward to another year of fun and friendship.
